Although nuclear energy is due to many reasons considered safe and clean source of energy, there are countries and movements struggling for its total inhibition. These attitudes emphasize especially radiation risks of nuclear power plants as well as the overall malignancy of nuclear energy contributing to contamination of natural environment. Through a series of coincidental events (terrorist attacks to nuclear power plants, a number of smaller accidents in nuclear power plants etc.), these attitudes prevail and achieve the world-wide decision made by policy makers to inhibit the production of energy from nuclear sources.
