The robots in this research, as part of an Ambient Intelligence platform, integrate sensors for monitoring and tasks execution, communications, and databases technologies (including knowledge discovery in databases (KDD)) capabilities and the data sent back to human. This technology enables far more accurate and sensitive result on environment research and could be potentially used in researches where direct human observation is not possible.
