Dr Vagner Barbeta
Prof. Dr. Vagner Bernal Barbeta - Director of FEI Research Institute
He has a Ph.D. and a M.Sc. in Solid State Physics. He was a visiting scholar at University of California, San Diego in 1992, headed the Physics Department of FEI from 2002 to 2012, and nowadays is the director of the Research Institute of FEI (IPEI). He has been doing his research in magnetic materials, magnetic nanoparticles, and metal-insulator phase transitions.
